How to change start button in windows xp
In this post we are going to mention all ways including some simple and complex ways to change start button text in windows XP. We would suggest please make a system restore so that you can restore back to the previous windows state. Firstly download resource hacker from here. Run Resource Hacker, by double clicking ResHacker. Now, you need edit the registry. Exit Registry and restart your computer to see the new name in the start button of windows XP. Above method is not simple as it involves tweaking your windows explorer and then editing the system registry which is can create some serious problems if the procedure is not followed properly.
Download the utility from here , and double click StartB. Enter the name which you want to set in start button and click the button Change Start Button Name.

I haven't actually tried it yet because i don't actually feel like backing up my computer I've learnt to get bored of this task through the many times i've had to reformat my hard drives , but using logic, couldn't you just "temporarily" do this by stopping the explorer process, and just loading up the new "explorer1" process?
